Our Client is looking for a dynamic and driven External Sales Representative to join a growing team in the industrial equipment sector.The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, a technical mindset, and the ability to build strong client relationships. This role is perfect for someone with experience in pumps or fluid handling systems, and who thrives in a fast-paced, field-based environment. Travel is a key part of this position, so a valid driver’s license and willingness to be on the road are essential.

Minimum requirements:

Grade 12 / Matric (copy of results required)
1–3 years external sales experience, preferably in industrial equipment or pumps
Basic technical knowledge of pump systems, fluid mechanics, or hydraulic systems
Valid driver’s license
Fluent in Afrikaans and English (written & verbal)
Own reliable transport to get to work daily
Willingness to travel locally or regionally up to 70% of the week
Neat, professional appearance
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and under pressure

Advantageous:

Diploma or certificate in a technical/engineering field
Experience in industries like water treatment, oil & gas, mining, HVAC, or manufacturing
Knowledge of pump software, mechanical seals, VFDs, and reading technical diagrams
