How you'll role
The Business Director will lead key client relationships, ensuring client success, retention, and revenue growth through strategic partnership and exceptional service delivery. This management role involves collaborating with internal teams, enhancing client and agency value, and supporting strategic objectives. Financial forecasting and meeting revenue, profit, and margin goals are integral, alongside maintaining strong, impactful client relationships.
What you'll do
- Lead Project Directors and Managers to execute client briefs professionally and efficiently
- Build and maintain trust-based client relationships, ensuring ownership and commercial awareness
- Ensure client work is on brand, on time, and within budget through collaboration and quality oversight
- Act as a strategic partner, being attuned to client industry trends, and anticipate needs with smart solutions
- Own financial performance of accounts, including accurate forecasting and achieving revenue growth, profitability, and margin targets
- Represent the agency externally at events and meetings, acting as a brand ambassador
- Manage scopes of work, contracts, and pricing to protect client satisfaction and agency profit
- Support CCO in growing client accounts through retention, upselling, and cross-selling
- Identify commercial opportunities aligned to client needs and agency offerings
- Proactively manage and mitigate client meeting risks, preparing clients for key presentations
- Ensure renewal of retainer contracts through strong relationship and performance management
- Address client dissatisfaction swiftly, resolving issues within two hours
