- Configure and onboard new client sites onto the remote monitoring system
- Integrate sensors, PLC/SCADA data streams, communication links, and dashboards
- Verify correct display of process data, alarms, KPIs, and trends
- Capture site?specific metadata (equipment type, criticality, plant layout, installed base profile)
- Maintain functionality of the software platform, data acquisition systems, and monitoring hardware

Job Specification – Remote Condition Monitoring Specialist
Location: Germiston Contract Type: Permanent Salary: Market related and negotiable Experience Level: Junior (1–3 years)
Role Overview
We are seeking a junior Remote Condition Monitoring Specialist to support the monitoring, analysis, and performance optimisation of modular process plants, pilot plants, demonstration plants, and full-scale production systems across multiple industries. These include mining, metallurgical, oil & gas, petrochemical, and food & beverage environments.
The role involves configuring new sites, maintaining system uptime, analysing monitoring data, managing alarms and deviations, and ensuring accurate feedback into field?support and job execution processes. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, operations, and field?support teams to enhance plant reliability, predictive maintenance, and uptime across the installed base.
This position is ideal for someone with a technical qualification in Instrumentation & Control, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Automation, who is eager to grow within a specialist modular process-plant environment.

- Automation / Process Control
- Instrumentation or Automation short courses (advantageous)
- PLC/SCADA training (Siemens, Allen?Bradley, Schneider, etc.)
- Condition Monitoring fundamentals (vibration, thermography, oil analysis) – advantageous
- IoT / IIoT or data acquisition exposure – beneficial
