We are currently recruiting for a Fitter & Turner to join our operations team.

• Repair, overhaul, assemble, and maintain rotating and auxiliary equipment, including bearings and seals

• Manufacture, modify, and repair mechanical components to required specifications and drawings

• Strip, inspect, assemble, and balance rotating equipment in accordance with relevant Mill standards

• Operate and maintain equipment such as:

  • Centre lathes

  • Milling machines

  • Slotting machines

  • Pedestal drills

  • Hydraulic presses

  • Auxiliary equipment

• Interpret and work accurately from engineering drawings

• Use measuring equipment with a clear understanding of tolerances and fits

• Provide routine weekly and monthly reports

• Participate in overtime and standby duties when required

• Adhere strictly to all Health, Safety, and Environmental policies of Mondi Paper
