Role
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Harare for a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Programmer & Operator for SINUMERIK 828D and GSK-based machines. The CNC Programmer/Operator will be responsible for creating and optimising CNC machine programs, ensuring precision and efficiency in manufacturing processes.
Key responsibilities include:

Creating, editing, and optimising CNC programs
Interpreting technical drawings and engineering blueprints
Selecting appropriate tools and materials
Setting up and operating CNC machines
Troubleshooting programming and machining errors
Collaborating with Engineers and Machinists to deliver high-quality products

Candidate Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience as a CNC Programmer/Operator, preferably in the Engineering or Manufacturing industry
Proficiency in CNC programming with strong expertise in G-Code and M-Code
Ability to read and accurately interpret technical blueprints and engineering drawings
Proven experience in setting up and operating CNC machines efficiently and accurately
Working knowledge of CAD/CAM software and related programming tools
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

Machining | Hydraulics | Fitting | Fabrication

Understanding of machine maintenance and troubleshooting techniques
Relevant technical certification, associate degree, or equivalent work experience in CNC Programming or Machining
