Job Description
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading and delivering complex mining and EPC capital projects from initiation through to completion. The role ensures projects are executed safely, on schedule, within approved budgets, and in compliance with technical, contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements. The Senior Project Manager provides strategic leadership, oversees multidisciplinary teams, and ensures alignment with organisational objectives.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and close-out of large-scale mining and EPC projects.
Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
Oversee engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
Manage EPC contractors, consultants, and internal project teams to ensure performance against contractual obligations.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and mining regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
Identify, assess, and manage project risks, changes, claims, and variations in collaboration with Legal and Contract Management teams.
Monitor project progress, cost performance, and quality, and report regularly to senior management and governance committees.
Ensure effective stakeholder engagement, including operations, finance, legal, procurement, and external partners.
Drive continuous improvement in project delivery practices and standards.
Ensure proper project documentation, handover, and close-out processes are completed.
