Job Description: We are seeking a talented Service Manager to lead service operations across Gauteng and the North West region within the Distribution Business Unit. This role is responsible for managing service teams, driving operational excellence, ensuring customer satisfaction, and leading continuous improvement initiatives aligned with business and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all service operations, including service staff and supervisors, while resolving complex operational and business challenges.
Provide timely, constructive performance feedback, support employee development, and create opportunities that enhance career growth.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives by reviewing, updating, and improving service processes in line with changing customer needs and organizational goals.
Monitor and review key performance indicators (KPIs) for service operations, addressing performance gaps and identifying improvement opportunities.
Ensure service output meets company standards while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Identify trends and implement changes required to achieve service goals and objectives without disrupting service delivery.
Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with key customers.
Establish service goals and performance targets, regularly measure results, and sustain superior customer satisfaction levels.

Candidate Requirements
Required Skills and Competencies:Advanced Troubleshooting and Diagnostic Skills: Ability to interpret customer complaints, follow structured workflows, and use mechanical, electronic, and software diagnostic tools to accurately identify and resolve issues.
Proficiency with Electronic Service Tools: Strong familiarity with diagnostic hardware and software tools, with the ability to interpret outputs and guide repair and service decisions.
Documentation and Process Compliance: Meticulous attention to capturing and verifying technical and customer data, documenting service activities in business systems, and complying with warranty and service protocols.
Effective Escalation and Communication: Ability to recognize issues requiring escalation, engage higher-level expertise when needed, and communicate findings and resolutions clearly across teams and systems while maintaining customer responsiveness.
Qualifications and Experience:
College, university, or equivalent degree in a relevant discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
Intermediate level of relevant work experience in a technical field, including team leadership experience.
This position may require licensing to comply with export control or sanctions regulations.
