We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Technical Sales Representative with strong industrial sales experience to grow market share and build long-term client relationships. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing market opportunities, promoting technical products and services, and delivering tailored solutions to customers within the industrial sector.
Key Responsibilities
Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify sales opportunities
Drive sales growth by promoting and selling technical products and service offerings
Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and new clients
Provide technical advice and product recommendations to customers
Conduct product demonstrations and train customers on the correct use of tools and equipment
Prepare sales proposals, quotations, and reports
Maintain accurate customer and sales data on SAP
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective service delivery and customer satisfaction
Meet and exceed agreed sales targets and performance objectives

Candidate Requirements
Key Requirements
Experience
Minimum of 5 years’ sales experience within the industrial sales sector
Experience in industrial tools and hydraulics highly advantageous
Education
Matric with Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy
Skills and Knowledge
Proficient in MS Office
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
SAP knowledge essential
Sound knowledge of industrial tools, power tools, and high-pressure hydraulics
