BASED IN PRETORIA
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Quotations and tenders on standard catalogue items: All Quotation must be ACCURATELY done on Sage or on excel. No Quotations for tenders will be done via email.
Accurate capturing of ALL the order information on the Sage system, these include the correct customer name, product code, price, contact person, mobile number and delivery address.
The efficient management and releasing of customer back-orders, each Individual sales person is responsible for their own back orders and customer service.
Goods return for credit: Accurate completion of the credit input form with the correct return code and valid reason completed. On all cash sales return there will be a 15% handling fee. Existing clients, own sales person can use their own discretion.
Timely printing of picking tickets, orders must be processed immediately.
Requesting of drawings and new product codes on the correct form from the Senior Estimator.
Excellent Customer service at all times via tele-sales and / or walk in customers.
To ensure that there is always one internal sales person present in the sales department at all times.
Each sales person is responsible for maintaining a clean and neat workstation at all times.
Maintaining excellent communication with Management regarding any customer complaints and stores regarding special delivery instructions at all times.
Actively taking part by contributing new ideas for sales, operations and products for the branch.
Actively search for new business and customers by phoning customers on the existing database to generate business and making cold calls to possible new customers.
Controlling of cash sales: Each sales person is responsible for his / her own cash sales and submitting the invoice together with the cash or proof of EFT payment to the debtor’s clerk.

Candidate Requirements
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:Matric
2 – 3 years’ experience counter / internal sales experience
Sage experience advantageous
Microsoft office - MS Excel
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:
Excellent customer service skills
Effective verbal, written and listening communications skills
Time management skills
