KAMOA COPPER SA is looking for a Specialised Artisan, Steel & Platework

The Kamoa Copper Mine is a joint venture between Ivanhoe Mines (39.6%), Zijin Mining Group (39.6%), Crystal River Global Limited (0.8%) and the Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo (20%). It's a very large, near-surface, flat-lying, stratiform copper deposit with adjacent prospective exploration areas within the Central African Copperbelt, at approximately 25 kilometres west of the town of Kolwezi and about 270 kilometres west of the provincial capital of Lubumbashi.

Manufacture, assemble, install and repair steelwork required for mining operations according to the Kamoa standards.

You will have the following:

• Must be Trade Tested Boiler maker
• Must have a Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Must have at least 8 years’ post–trade test experience as a Boilermaker in an underground mining environment
• Must have at least 8 years’ experience working with underground piping systems and stations.

• Manufacture, assemble and install pipes and steel work according to requirement and design
• Repair and alterations to infrastructure, vehicles, machinery and equipment
• Inspections and replacement of pumps

• Finance - Monitor costs or expenses within approved budget to achieve cost efficiencies and reduce waste
