Job Summary:

We are a well established injection moulding company looking for a hands-on junior to intermediate toolmaker to join our tooling and maintenance team in an injection moulding environment. This role is ideal for a candidate who is eager to grow their skills in injection moulding tool maintenance and repair.

 Main Duty:

•           Maintenance and servicing of injection moulding Tools(EG. Replacement of o-rings, springs, ejector pins, fix broken threads etc)

  ·         Ensure all tools are maintained to quality standards prior to production.

  ·         Polishing of the mould cavities and components.

  ·         Troubleshoot with mould related issues during production, such as Air   vents issues.

   

  ·         Needs to work with tool stripping, assembly and all fault finding.

  ·         Keep work area clean and follow safety procedures.

  ·         Cleaning, inspection and maintenance of hot runner systems
