Our client, an international manufacturing company, seeks to employ an experienced Bookkeeper/Junior Accountant to join their progressive and expanding professional team. Please note that experience in foreign exchange transactions, cashbook, cashflow projections and general ledger recons is essential.THIS IS A HIGHLY URGENT ROLE TO START ON OR BEFORE 01 DECEMBER, THEREFORE ONLY CANDIDATES WITHIN THE CAPE TOWN REGION WILL BE CONSIDERED

KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION:

You will have a tertiary qualification in Finance/Accounting, coupled with 2-5 years experience in general ledger/bank recons, accurate cashflow reporting, VAT returns foreign exchange transactions and trial balance recons of balance sheet accounts.
You will have proven experience in accurate budget reporting, managing SARS queries pertaining to VAT and providing support to the head Accountant and Financial Manager.
Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel is essential
You must have a valid driver’s licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
