Mobii specializes in the integration of consumer-centric ecosystems through engagement, broadcasting, and analytics. We are currently seeking a Technical Operations Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our live streaming operations and associated technical workflows.
We utilize proprietary low-latency video encoding and distribution technologies to support real-time global workflows for international brands in the sports and media industries, including NASCAR, IndyCar, and LIV Golf.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Oversight: Monitor live streaming operations to ensure uninterrupted service delivery and adherence to performance standards.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues promptly within a high-pressure, live environment.
- Systems Support: Provide technical assistance to both internal stakeholders and external clients, including system onboarding and user training.
- Product Integration: Collaborate with the development team to test new platform features and provide practical technical feedback based on operational performance.
- Deployment: Assist in the implementation and roll-out of new applications and best practices for live streaming operations.
Required Skills
- Familiarity With Computer Networks: 1 to 2 years
- Audio And Video Fundamentals: 2 to 3 years
Candidate Requirements
This position is well-suited for individuals with a strong IT background and a logical approach to problem-solving. While prior experience in live streaming is beneficial, we place a high value on technical aptitude and the ability to learn new systems. Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.
Required Skills:
- Technical Proficiency: 1–2 years of experience (or equivalent) working with computer systems, hardware, and networking.
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues under time-sensitive conditions.
- Communication: Clear professional communication skills for client interaction and internal team collaboration.
- Operational Flexibility: Ability to work non-traditional hours, including weekends and evenings, to align with international live event schedules and time zones.
- Travel: Willingness to travel on-request for on-site operational support.
Preferred Skills (Not Essential):
- Basic understanding of Linux environments.
- Familiarity with audio/video fundamentals (codecs, streaming protocols, or delivery platforms).
- Experience in a technical support or operations-focused role.
