AccountantNelspruitR30 000 - R50 000ctcOur client in the retail sector is looking for an Accountant to join their team in Nelspruit.

Minimum requirements:

BCom Finance degree (preferred) or proven experience as an Accountant
Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a similar position
Proficient in Pastel Accounting and Pastel Payroll
Broad accounting knowledge covering all aspects of finance, including:
Bookkeeping to trial balance
Reconciliations (bank, debtors, creditors, etc.)
Payroll processing and statutory submissions
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Fluent in Afrikaans (written and spoken)
Key Responsibilities:
Manage full accounting function from bookkeeping to trial balance
Prepare and process monthly reconciliations
Handle payroll administration and ensure compliance with statutory requirements
Maintain accurate financial records and reports
Assist with preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial statements
Liaise with auditors, suppliers, and other stakeholders as required
Provide financial support and advice to management
