We are seeking a motivated and results-driven External Technical Sales Representative to join a growing sales team within the industrial automation and instrumentation sector. This role is suited to a technically minded sales professional who enjoys client engagement, solution-based selling, and working in a performance-driven environment.

Experience, Qualifications & Skills

3–5 years’ proven external sales experience in a technical or engineering-related environment
Background in industrial automation, electrical engineering, networking, plant automation, or similar fields
Relevant tertiary qualification (BCom, Electrical Engineering, or similar) advantageous
Technical certifications (e.g. Cisco / CCNA / Networking) advantageous
Experience with CRM systems; basic SAP knowledge an advantage (training provided)
Strong computer literacy (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Excellent communication skills with a professional, consultative approach
Willingness to travel to client sites as required
Valid South African ID, driver’s licence, and reliable transport
