Bookkeeper - George Accounting Firm based in the heart of George, is on a recruitment drive for a mature, Afrikaans 1st language lady to join their team.Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:Maintaining accurate financial records and process transactions up to trial balancehandling multiple client accounts efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timelinessCommunicate professionally with clients, providing clear and timely updatesPrepare all accounting records on monthly basis for various clients for submission of VAT201, EMP201, UIF and SDL returnNot Essential but Advantages:Annual CIPC and Beneficial ownership submissionsSubmit VAT201 and EMP201 returns on e-filingEMP501 submissions (Bi-annual & annual)File Workman's compensation

Qualifications:

Matric + relevant bookkeeping / accounting diploma qualification
+5 years - full function bookkeeping experience
Solid working knowledge of Pastel and Excel
Strong understanding of VAT, PAYE, UIF, SDL and Workman's comp
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines
Excellent communication skills - Afrikaans & English
