We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Certified Scissor Lift Operator to join our operations team in Saldanha.

In this crucial role, you will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining lift equipment to elevate workers and materials for various tasks in our [e.g., warehouse, construction, manufacturing] environment. Your expertise will directly contribute to our commitment to workplace safety and operational efficiency. 

Key Responsibilities

• Safe Operation: Operate scissor lift equipment in a safe and efficient manner to transport personnel and goods to elevated work areas.
• Inspections: Conduct comprehensive pre-operation equipment inspections daily and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns immediately.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as a harness and helmet when required.
• Site Awareness: Continuously assess the work area for potential hazards such as uneven terrain, electrical lines, and pedestrian traffic, and implement proactive safety strategies.
• Material Handling: Assist with loading and unloading materials, ensuring proper handling and storage to prevent damage.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of lift operations, including inspection and maintenance logs.
• Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth operations.
