Based:  George

Salary: R22 – 24 000.00 pm

Requirements:

·        Proven experience as a Health & Safety Officer (preferably in a manufacturing or textile environment).

·        In-depth knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation and best practices.

·        Excellent communication and report-writing skills.

·        Ability to work independently and with attention to detail.

·        Relevant Health & Safety qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

·        Conduct regular workplace inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with health & safety legislation.

·        Maintain and update Health & Safety policies, risk assessments, and safety procedures.

·        Provide safety training and awareness to staff.

·        Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and recommend preventive measures.

·        Liaise with management and regulatory bodies on all safety matters.
