Maintenance Planner & Buyer -POS26092

Salary: R28 000 – 35 000.00 pm

Based: Centurion

Our client is seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner & Buyer to join their team. The Maintenance Planner & Buyer will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the maintenance department.

Qualifications & Experience

·        A minimum of 4 -5 years of experience in maintenance planning and technical buying

·        Qualifications in Engineering would be preferred, if having less than 4 years’ experience

·        Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices and techniques

·        Excellent organizational and time management skills

·        Proficiency in maintenance management software

·        Strong communication and interpersonal skills

·        Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

·        Technical knowledge of equipment and facilities maintenance

Duties (Not limit to)

·        Develop and maintain a detailed maintenance schedule for all equipment and facilities

·        Coordinate maintenance activities with production schedules to minimize downtime

·        Monitor and track maintenance expenses and report on budget variances

·        Conduct regular inspections on equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs

·        Order and maintain inventory of necessary maintenance supplies and parts

·        Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs

·        Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines

·        Work closely with maintenance technicians to ensure timely completion of work orders

·        Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and performance metrics

·        Assist in the development of long-term maintenance plans and budgets
