A large consulting engineering company with offices worldwide is looking to appoint an Associate Engineer – Highways.

Minimum requirements:

·        Bachelor of Science or Engineering from an accredited University/Master of Science / Engineering.

·        12+ Years' experience post grad experience of which 3+ years should be in a supervisory role

·        Professionally registered as an Engineer with ECSA

·        Must have previous highway design experience and is expected to have experience in managing senior engineers

·        Expected to be able to check designs and supervise

·        Experience Civil3D, Civil Designer, BIM360, Roadmate, TechnoCAD and Revit

Your responsibilities will include:

·        Co-ordinates and provides technical management for mid-large size projects

·        Manages technical client relationships and plays a major role in selling

·        Manages discipline department staff

·        Leads technical business development work

·        Provides specialised technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise

·        Approves and signs off on work

·        Leads in one or more areas of technology

·        Provides estimates for the engineering budget and schedule and oversees technical resources to meet requirements on large, complex projects
