My client is a highly successful tiling retailer with a showroom based in Menlyn, Pretoria.
This role is ideal for a results-driven individual with a strong sales background, excellent customer service skills, and a natural flair for design. You’ll be working in a high-end showroom environment, engaging with clients on projects ranging from home renovations to new developments, and delivering a world-class customer experience from consultation to close.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Engage with walk-in clients in the showroom, offering expert advice on tiles, taps, sanitaryware, and related products
- Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring a personalised and professional experience aligned with the brand’s luxury standards
- Assist customers in visualising design concepts and product choices to suit their space and style preferences.
- Contribute to maintaining the overall presentation of the showroom — ensuring displays, pricing, and promotional materials are up to date and visually appealing
- Collaborate with the broader showroom team to meet and exceed monthly sales targets
- Provide after-sales support and ensure ongoing customer satisfaction

- Merchandising: 3 to 4 years
- Sales: 3 to 4 years
- Admin: 3 to 4 years
- Quoting: 3 to 4 years
Candidate Requirements
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Matric Certificate
- Minimum 3 years experience in sales, prefereably within retail or customer service (preference will be given to non job hoppers)
- Proven ability to consistently achieve or exceed set sales targets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
- High attention to detail, able to multitask, great with maths and quotation preparation
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite
- Creative flair and a good eye for design and aesthetics
- Ability to multitask and manage deadlines
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
- Availability to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays

Basic salary R16000 negotiable on initial contract (3 months) followed by a perm appointment with full benefits and profit share.
