Electronic Technical Officer

Our client is a technology-driven company that is a leading player in the electronics development industry. The company focuses on the highest standards of innovation and the development of electronic systems and components, with a strong emphasis on customer service and quality.

Our client is looking for four motivated Electronic Technical Officers, with two focusing on Quality Assurance and two on Repairs. These key roles require technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.

💼 Salary: R15,000 – R25,000 (depending on qualifications and experience)
📍 Location: Kempton Park
⏰ Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:15 – 16:15
📈 Available Positions: 4
👉 Start Date: As soon as possible

Main Responsibilities:

• Product Quality Assurance: Testing and inspection of equipment to ensure it meets company standards.
• PCB Repairs & Troubleshooting: Diagnosing faults by studying schematic diagrams.
• Auditing: Responsible for both internal and external audits.
• Documentation Control: Management and upkeep of technical and quality documentation.
• Planning & Prioritization: Scheduling of work and managing daily tasks.
• Store Control: Organization and management of components and equipment.
• R&D Support: Ad-hoc assistance to the research and development team.

Requirements:

• B.Tech in Engineering or Diploma or higher (If no formal qualification, relevant experience will be required) 
• 2 years Experience in an electronics workshop, QA, and/or repair work.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Leadership ability and the capacity to provide training when required.
• Be proficient in the use of an oscilloscope.

Hoof Verantwoordelikhede:

• Produk Kwaliteitsversekering: Toets en inspeksie van toerusting om te verseker dat dit aan maatskappy standaarde voldoen.
• PCB Herstelwerk & Foutopsporing: Diagnose van probleme deur skematiese diagramme te bestudeer.
• Ouditwerk: Interne en eksterne ouditverantwoordelikhede.
• Dokumentasiebeheer: Beheer en instandhouding van tegniese en kwaliteitsdokumentasie.
• Beplanning & Prioritisering: Skedulering van werk en bestuur van daaglikse take.
• Pakhuisbeheer: Organisasie en kontrole van komponente en toerusting.
• R&D Ondersteuning: Ad-hoc bystand aan navorsing- en ontwikkelingspan.

Vereistes:

• B.Tech in Ingenierswese of Diploma of beter. (Indien geen formele kwalifikasie nie, word relevante ondervinding vereis)
• 2 jaar Werkswinkel, QA en/of herstelwerk ervaring.
• Sterk aandag aan detail.
• Vermoë om onder druk te werk en sperdatums na te kom.
• Leierskap en die vermoë om opleiding te bied indien nodig.
• Vaardig wees in die gebruik van 'n oscilloscope.
