- Partner with Sales to understand client goals, challenges, and overall marketing objectives.
- Translate client needs into strategic, data-driven media plans aligned with key KPIs such as ROAS, CPA, CTR, awareness, and engagement.
- Build comprehensive campaign proposals including recommended tactics, inventory selection, audience targeting, platforms, and expected performance outcomes.
- Serve as a product and strategy expert during pre-sale conversations, helping Sales position the right solutions to meet client objectives.
- In certain circumstances, participate in client calls to clarify goals and gather information necessary for accurate scoping and planning.
- Work collaboratively with Ad Operations to ensure campaigns are launched accurately, aligned with media plans, and set up for success.
- Set up campaigns to launch in our various DSPs such as DV360, The Trade Desk, and Stackadapt
- Help to troubleshoot discrepancies or setup issues before and during launch to mitigate risk and ensure best possible performance from day one.
- Closely monitor live campaigns to ensure pacing, delivery, and performance align with goals and expectations.
- Analyze performance data to identify optimization opportunities and develop strategic recommendations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to implement changes including targeting updates, bidding adjustments, creative swaps, and allocation shifts.
- Prepare and communicate performance insights to internal teams and client stakeholders.
- Identify when a pivot is needed and proactively recommend solutions or strategic adjustments.
- Present internal campaign strategies, mid-flight insights, and final results in a clear, strategic, and client-friendly manner.
- Act as a consultative partner by aligning on goals, discussing ongoing progress, and recommending improvements to maximize ROI.
- Build strong internal and external relationships through transparency, strategic thought leadership, and high-quality support.

Our client is seeking a highly analytical, strategic, and client-focused Campaign Strategist to join their Advertising Operations team. This role works across both pre-sales and post-sales functions to help craft and execute high-performing digital advertising campaigns. The ideal candidate blends strong communication skills with deep expertise in digital media planning, campaign strategy, data-driven optimization, and client success.
You will collaborate closely with Sales, Ad Operations, Account Management, and clients to understand business objectives, translate needs into actionable media plans, and ensure campaigns launch smoothly and perform against key KPIs—including ROAS, Conversions, CTR, Awareness, and other success metrics.

Required Skills
- Communication Skills: 3 to 4 years
- Digital Advertizing: 3 to 4 years
Candidate Requirements
- 2–5+ years of experience in digital media, advertising operations, campaign management, or media planning.
- Strong understanding of digital advertising channels, including programmatic, display, video, mobile, CTV, and social platforms.
- Proven ability to develop strategic media plans aligned with specific KPIs such as ROAS, conversions, CTR, or brand awareness.
- Experience analyzing campaign data and providing actionable insights or optimizations.
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to translate complex data into clear recommendations.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple campaigns or proposals simultaneously.
- Schedule is Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm EST
- Experience working closely with Sales, Account Management, or Ad Ops teams.
- Familiarity with common ad tech platforms (DSPs, SSPs, analytics tools, ad servers, etc.).
- Knowledge of audience strategies, performance measurement, attribution, and optimization methodologies.
- Ability to anticipate challenges and recommend proactive solutions.
