Our client is a solo, board-certified obstetrics and gynecology practice on New York City’s Upper East Side, offering personalized women’s health care across every stage of life. The practice blends modern, evidence-based medicine with “classic care,” emphasizing unhurried visits, continuity, and a strong doctor-patient relationship.

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage inbound/outbound patient calls, answer basics, represent doctor warmly and professionally.
  • Schedule, confirm appointments; maintain calendar; send portal/onboarding info.
  • Triage/manage email inbox; respond routine admin; escalate to doctor.
  • Collect/enter accurate demographics and insurance details; prepare reimbursement forms.
  • Handle light insurance tasks: eligibility checks, prior auth, surgery scheduling.
  • Triage patient messages; notify urgent issues via WhatsApp/tasks.
  • Assist with insurance prior authorizations and related follow-ups.

Required Skills

  • Communication Skills: 2 to 3 years
  • Proffessional Skills: 2 to 3 years
  • Tech-Savvy: 2 to 3 years

Candidate Requirements

Requirements: 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a warm, personable approach.
  • Strong empathy and professionalism.
  • Proven sales-oriented mindset with the ability to guide patients through decisions.
  • Exceptional organizational and cognitive skills, including effective multitasking and strong attention to detail.
  • Accurate typing skills and the ability to maintain error-free documentation.
  • Strong critical thinking and practical problem-solving abilities.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable navigating modern communication tools,  scheduling systems, and EMR/CRM platforms.
  • Schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:30am - 5:30 pm EST
  • Prior medical office experience preferred; OBGYN experience is a strong plus.
