Our client, a reputable organisation within the services industry, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in SAGE systems, comfortable preparing financials up to the Trial Balance, and confident in managing full payroll functions.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting

• Prepare, process, and maintain financial records accurately.

• Produce financial statements up to Trial Balance.

• Compile, analyse, and interpret Management Statements.

• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies timeously.

• Oversee SAGE Accounting functions and ensure accuracy of financial entries.

• Assist with month-end reporting, financial controls, and related accounting tasks.

Payroll

• Manage full payroll processing on SAGE Pastel Payroll / SAGE Professional.

• Maintain up-to-date employee payroll records.

• Address and resolve payroll-related queries.

• Ensure accurate monthly payroll preparation, submissions, and compliance.

• Perform general administrative and filing duties as required.
