C Fruit, a growing fruit trading and packhouse business operating across fresh and frozen categories, is seeking a SAIPA?accredited Accountant with strong technical accounting, and stock accounting experience to manage the finance function and deliver accurate, timely financial reporting in a complex, high?volume environment.

The successful candidate will be based in the Paarl area, and be responsible for:

• Manage the full accounting function and produce monthly management accounts.

• Prepare and review P&L, balance sheet recons, cash-flow reports, and forecasts Oversee stock accounting — valuations, monthly recons, variance checks, and grower accounting.

• Handle cost and margin analysis, including production, packing, and logistics costs Produce margin reports and budget-vs-actual insights Manage debtors, creditors, cashbook, and support payroll/HR processes.

• Strengthen financial controls and streamline accounting processes.

• Support year-end financials, audits, and compliance reporting.

• Provide accurate financial insights to guide management decisions.

• Work closely with operations to ensure accurate financial data.

• Investigate and resolve stock or cost variances.

• Turn operational information into clear financial reporting.

• Review internal controls and recommend improvements.

• All ad hoc financial functions related to the position.

Essential qualifications, skills and experience:

• SAIPA accredited;

• Minimum 3 years’ of experience, preferably within the fruit, agri?processing, or manufacturing environment;

• Solid experience in financial accounting and stock management;

• Proven ability to prepare monthly management accounts;

• Solid understanding of cost accounting and margin analysis;

• Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting systems;

• Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English);

• Own reliable transport.
