Our client, a leading fruit export company in Paarl, has an exciting opportunity for a Quality & Due Diligence Officer. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, structured, and proactive, with a strong understanding of quality, compliance, and regulatory standards in the fruit export industry.

Duties will include: *Monitor quality across packing and export processes and report on deviations or risks *Ensure producers are compliant with certifications like GlobalGAP and that all documentation is up to date *Support regulatory compliance, including MRL verification, CoC audits, and traceability *Conduct mock recalls and support risk management initiatives *Liaise with internal teams, producers, and logistics partners to communicate quality status and market requirements *Maintain accurate records, dashboards, and audit-ready documentation *All other tasks related to the role.

Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:
• Tertiary qualification in Food Safety or a related field;
• 3-5 years' experience in a similar quality control and/or due diligence role;
• Knowledge of GlobalGAP, CoC, MRL standards, and international fruit export requirements;
• Excellent computer literacy (specifically MS Excel);
• Fully bilingual (Afrikaans & English);
• Valid driver's license & own reliable transport.
