Our client, situated in the Hex River Valley, has a position available for a Junior Production Manager known for a hands-on approach, as well as solid teamwork and communication skills.

The successful candidate will report to the Production Manager and be respronsible for the management of a table grape unit (± 100ha) situated in De Doorns (Western cape).

Duties will include (but not be limited to): *Assistance with table grape production processes *Management of personnel, including training and development *Record-keeping of all processes, including quality management systems and ethical compliance *Planning and coordination of harvest schedules *Management of facilities and maintenance operations *All other tasks related to the role.

Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:
• Matric required. A tertiary qualification in Agriculture will be advantageous;
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar table grape production role;
• Knowledge of relevant quality systems and audit processes;
• Strong computer skills (MS Office, specifically Excel);
• Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English);
• Valid driver’s license.
