Our client, a well-established business in the manufacturing industry based in Philippi (Cape Town), has a vacancy for a Financial Manager to join their team in a fast-paced work environment.

The successful candidate must demonstrate strong analytical ability with a high level of attention to detail. In addition, the incumbent must be able to communicate clearly and professionally, manage deadlines and multiple priorities effectively, and maintain a collaborative, team-focused approach.

Responsibilities will include (but not limited to): *Monthly management accounts and financial reporting *Project costing, job cards, and profitability tracking *Budgeting and forecasting support *Bank, supplier, customer, and inter-company reconciliations *Managing accounts payable and receivable *Compliance with IFRS and SARS requirements (VAT, PAYE, Income Tax) *Supporting audits *Maintaining the fixed asset register and depreciation *Cash flow planning and financial analysis *Working closely with site managers and quantity surveyors *Internal controls and general financial administration *All other tasks related to the role.

Essential qualifications, skills and experience:
• Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field;
• Completed SAICA articles are highly preferable, but not a requirement;
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar role;
• Strong proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools;
• Valid driver’s license.
