Data Migration Consultant
Our client
is hiring a detail-driven, solutions-focused
Data Migration Consultant
to guide customers through seamless transitions into a
Community Management System (CMS)
. This is a full-time, on-site role at their
Somerset West based office.
Location: Somerset West
Type: Permanent, in office, full time position.
Salary: Market related and dependent on experience (negotiable)
Purpose of the roleEnsure accurate capture, cleansing, and migration of data from legacy sources into the CMS. Safeguard data integrity, support operational processes, and resolve data-related queries in partnership with internal teams and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Capture, update, and maintain data across systems, spreadsheets, and databases.
• Validate information before and after entry to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Identify and correct errors or inconsistencies in incoming datasets.
• Maintain structured, audit-ready filing systems for digital and physical records.
• Handle confidential information securely and in line with policy.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and clients to obtain missing or unclear information.
• Investigate and resolve data-related queries promptly.
• Meet daily, weekly, and monthly capture and migration targets.
• Provide administrative support to adjacent functions when required.

Qualifications & Experience
• Grade 12 (matric) or equivalent (with accounting as a subject)
• Previous experience in data capturing and finance (advantageous)
• Experience working with spreadsheets, CRM systems, or databases
