SAKEVERSLAGGEWER/BUSINESS NEWS REPORTER: Netwerk24  (Kaapstad/Johannesburg)

Netwerk24 is op soek na ’n sakeverslaggewer met 5-10 jaar ervaring in die sakejoernalistiek om deel te word van ’n klein span wat oor die ekonomie, maatskappye, landbousake, persoonlike geldsake en staatsondernemings skryf. Die persoon moet veelsydig wees en in Afrikaans kan skryf. Die standaardvereistes, soos dat daar soms op vakansiedae en Sondae gewerk moet word, geld.

Netwerk24 is looking for a reporter with at least 5-10 years’ experience as a business reporter to join a small team that covers the economy, company news, the agricultural sector, personal finance and state-owned enterprises. The ideal candidate is versatile, well versed on the topic of business news and able to write in Afrikaans. Standard requirements apply, including work on public holidays and Sundays from time to time.

Job outputs 

• Identify and write business news stories.
• Identify exclusive stories and report on it.
• Report on breaking news.
• Maintain a network of contacts in the business world.
• Do web production work on Netwerk24’s business landing page from time to time.

 Qualifications and experience
