Employer: Air Products South Africa (Pty) Limited

This role is responsible for the delivery and collection of Packaged Gas to and from internal & external customer sites in a safe and reliable way. The key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

1. Responsible for conducting the daily pre/post journey vehicle checks;

2. Ensure safe and efficient delivery and collection of cylinders at assigned destinations;

3. Responsible for the safe loading and offloading of cylinders;

4. Responsible for general housekeeping of the truck;

5. Ensure SHERQ standards are constantly adhered to;

6. Executing their duties in accordance with all relevant Company Policies and Procedures;

7. General ad hoc activities.

Candidate Requirements

1. A minimum of a Grade 12 certificate.

2. A valid unendorsed Code EC driver’s licence with (PrDPd).

3. Must have a valid Dangerous Goods Certificate.

4. Must have your own reliable transport.

5. A minimum of 5 years of heavy-duty driving experience.

1. Must be medically fit to perform physical work.

2. Must score A/B in Psychomotor Testing and must pass AP internal assessment (Written & Practical).

3. Must have a clear criminal record.

4. Must be willing to work Flexi hours & overtime when required.

5. Must be able to produce written reports on vehicle fitness and complete delivery paperwork accurately.

6. Must have the ability to operate a computer and/or tablet.

7. Must have good verbal and written communication skills, specifically in English.
