We have an amazing opportunity for an Accountant at a well-established accounting firm based in Johannesburg East! The main purpose of this role is:

-        To manage a portfolio of clients, review work performed by data capturers, and collaborate effectively with team members managing parallel portfolios.

We require a candidate with:

·         Solid accounting experience (experience is valued over qualifications)

·         Proven ability to manage and oversee a portfolio of clients

·         Experience reviewing and checking junior staff work (e.g. data capturers)

·         A mature, reliable and collaborative working style

·         Strong interpersonal and communication skills

·         Team leadership or supervisory experience

·         Payroll experience is advantageous, but not essential
