M&A Logistics, based in Wellington (Western Cape), is looking for a Fleet Controller to join their team. This role is best suited to a proactive and driven individual with excellent planning-, administrative-, and problem-solving skills, paired with the ability to work effectively under pressure.

The successful candidate will report to the Fleet Manager and be responsible for the following: *daily scheduling regarding loading and unloading of products *monitoring vehicle routes *managing orders *handling relevant documentation *record keeping *liaising with drivers and customers *personnel management *quality management *expanding customer base *all administrative and ad-hoc tasks related to the role.

Essential qualifications, skills and experience:
• Matric. Relevant tertiary qualification in Transport/Logistics will be beneficial;
• Proven experience in the transport/fleet industry is essential;
• Experience in managing a team of drivers;
• Knowledge of transport regulations and safety standards;
• Excellent communication skills (Afrikaans & English) - Ability to communicate in an African language will be beneficial;
• Strong computer literacy (MS Office);
• Driver’s license and own reliable transport;
• Willingness to work weekends and overtime as per operational requirements (24-hour rotating shifts).
