VDM Physio, a Physiotherapy practice based in Panorama (Cape Town), is looking for a Receptionist to join their team. The ideal candidate is a professional and presentable individual with excellent administrative and communications skills (Afrikaans & English).
The successful candidate will be responsible for all reception and administrative duties, including the following: *handling patient enquiries *friendly reception of patients *making appointments *management of 7 Physiotherapist’s diaries *managing of Pilates schedule *daily billing on debtors system (Elixir and One Health) *acquiring medical aid authorisations *liaison between patient- and family for treatment permissions *managing of stock and consumables *recordkeeping *safekeeping of patient files *assist with hte implementation of quality standards, policies and procedures *all other tasks related to the position.
Essential qualifications, skills and experience:
• Matric (Grade 12);
• Minimum 2-3 years' experience as receptionist in the medical field, preferably in a specialist medical practice;
• Excellent attention to detail;
• Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office, experience with Elixir & One Health preferred);
• Own reliable transport.
