Key Responsibilities:

Design production-ready products, tooling, and jigging using CAE to ensure all customer-defined quality standards are met.
Prepare complete Manufacturing Data Packs, including equipment BOMs and detailed Work Instructions.
Troubleshoot product, tooling, and jigging issues; support start-up, testing, and qualification of new moulds, fixtures, and jigs.
Develop and define special manufacturing processes to support production efficiency and quality.
Conduct process verification sampling to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
Assist with pricing, estimating, and scoping of new projects, including the development and preparation of technical specifications.
Stay up to date with global developments in the composites industry, including tooling and advanced manufacturing technologies, to help maintain a competitive, world-class production environment.

Requirements & Key Skills:

Tertiary qualification: B.Eng. or B.Tech in a relevant engineering field.
Minimum of 3 years’ relevant industry experience preferred.
Experience in at least one of the following essential areas:
- 3D CAD design (ideally Catia V5).
- 3-axis & 5-axis machining programming (ideally Mastercam).
Experience creating Catia V5 Composite Plybooks is advantageous.
Broad understanding of manufacturing requirements related to the design, certification, and production of aerospace components.
Knowledge of composite design and manufacturing processes strongly preferred.
Proven ability to operate in a multi-project environment with diverse customer requirements.
Comfortable working with global teams and interacting across different cultures.
Ability to work on your feet for extended periods in dusty, noisy environments with exposure to raw materials and finished products.
Willingness to travel locally and internationally for supplier and customer visits.
