The Item Coding Team is responsible for categorizing the UPC’s based on client's defined key categories and enriching it by capturing data for predefined attributes. It is the process of assigning values for each of the UPC’s attributes; these attributes are predefined by client
Roles & Responsibilities
- Understand the business, Customer requirements and Service Level Agreements
- Follow defined standard operating procedures (SOP’s)
- Take ownership of assigned client deliverables, serve as the main point of contact (POC) for the home office for any changes and delivery-related issues
- Accountable for the quality and on-time delivery of client deliverables. (accountability)
- Plan and prioritize work load to ensure all assignments are delivered accurately and within specified timelines (planning)
- Ensure on-time releases of client deliverables (Timeliness)
- Ensure that all feedbacks and learning’s from the home office, clients, field, etc. are documented and applied to client deliverables to improve accuracy (Baseline the learning)
- Responsible for any new changes & requests for owned deliverables, need to cross-check the same before delivering to clients.
- Carry out new client deliverable setups and database reruns when required
- Responsible for maintaining SLA’s for each period.
- Ensure that all necessary reports are maintained and updated on time
- Provide an effective liaison between our home office teams to ensure clients are serviced to required levels. Must have a client-focused approach to work.
- Continuously identify further training requirements for yourself and the team, and liaise with your Supervisor / Immediate Line Manager to develop these areas. Inform your Supervisor of any highlights, learning’s, or tasks that you are proud to have accomplished in your One-on-Ones.
- Follow business etiquette and maintain professionalism in the work area.
- Tasks assigned by Line manager to be completed on time.
