Candidate Requirements

Core Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare financial statements and reports, perform financial analysis, and investigate variances to provide strategic insights to management.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Manage the company's budget and financial planning processes, including annual operating plans and forecasts.
• Accounts Management: Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and debt collection to ensure timely processing and payment.
• Cash Flow and Profitability: Monitor cash flow, assess profitability, identify cost-cutting opportunities, and provide recommendations to improve financial health.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and tax laws, and perform risk assessments.
• Fleet Financials: Manage financial aspects related to the truck fleet, including maintenance costs, depreciation, and usage.
• Management Support: Serve as a financial consultant to the General Manager or CEO, assisting with decision-making on issues like investments and business strategies.
• Systems and Procedures: Implement and maintain financial systems and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and provide mentorship to finance and accounting staff.
