Candidate Requirements

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Red Seal Diesel Mechanic qualification.
• Matric/ Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years practical Diesel Mechanic experience.
• Good mechanical and technical skills and experience (Hino proficiency highly beneficial).
• Valid SA Code 10/14 driver’s license (or willing to acquire a Code 10/14 license).
• Own reliable transport.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in Afrikaans & English.
• Computer literate.
• Ability to work well independently.
• Stable work record with contactable references. 
• Willingness to work shifts and flexible hours, including occasional weekends and public holidays.
• Must have absolute SOBER HABITS.
• Must be willing to do a pre-employment polygraph test. 
• Ideally reside in Durban western suburbs (Hillcrest), or willing to relocate.

Package and Remuneration:

R37 000 – R42 000 CTC per month, depending on skill level.
