How you'll role

As a Junior Accountant you'll support the Finance team in ensuring accurate financial processing, compliance, and reporting. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and looking to grow within the finance function of a dynamic and fast-paced business.

What you'll do

Accounting & Financial Processing

• Assist in processing daily financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness

• Support month-end procedures, including preparing reconciliations and assisting with management accounts

• Maintain accurate records for suppliers and assist with payment preparation

• Help monitor and update cash flow schedules

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial reports

Compliance & Tax Support

• Support the Finance team in preparing documentation for VAT, employee taxes, and other statutory submissions

• Assist with ensuring compliance with applicable legislation (including the Gambling Act, Companies Act, FICA and POPI)

• Maintain proper supporting documentation for audit and compliance reviews

Operational Support

• Assist with the upkeep of finance systems and internal processes to improve efficiency and reduce risk

• Work closely with other departments to gather information required for financial and compliance purposes

• Provide administrative support to the Finance Manager and CEO as needed

Audit Support

• Assist in preparing schedules and documentation for annual audits across Group companies

• Support audit-related queries and ensure accurate record-keeping
