A dynamic electrical automation company is looking for an experienced Automation Electronics Technician with strong expertise in repairing, installing, and servicing electronic equipment and servo motors. The role involves working both in the office and on-site at factories, interpreting electrical drawings, and supporting the technical department in maintaining a smooth workflow.

Responsibilities:

• Fault find and perform board-level repairs on variable speed drives (VSDs).

• Attend site breakdowns on servo drives and perform fault finding.

• Install and commission variable speed drives.

• Record labour hours accurately in the job management system.

• Source parts and create quotations including labour estimates.

• Support technical team in board-level and servo drive repairs.

• Maintain detailed reports and historic records of repairs.

• Resolve on-site breakdowns and manage drive removals when necessary.

• Exercise accuracy and professionalism in all repair work.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an electronics technician, preferably in automation.

• Hands-on experience with variable speed drives (VSDs) and servo motors.

• Strong understanding of electrical principles and electronic signals.

• Ability to interpret electrical drawings for fault finding.

• Detail-oriented, organised, and customer service-driven.

• Proficient in English and Microsoft Office.

• Relevant electronics qualifications.

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the electronics field.
