Financial Accountant needed in Pretoria East Salary: R33 000 - R38 000 (depending on experience)

Minimum requirements:

Relevant Finance degree
Minimum of 2 years’ experience after articles
Completed articleship training (signed off by an accredited training office)
Registered with relevant body (SAIPA, SAICA, AGA)
Tax practitioner registration will be an added advantage
Overseeing financial operations with meticulous attention to detail, establishing, implementing and overseeing effective systems, processes and controls
Providing relevant feedback and discipline as required
Performing a range of financial duties such as maintaining general ledgers, reconciling bank accounts and bookkeeping up to trial balance
Establishing, maintaining and balancing various accounts using computerised bookkeeping systems
Executing all financial systems and procedures for cash books, petty cash, credit cards, debtors and creditors
Data entry and database management, maintaining meticulous records, compiling, composing, and signing final annual financial statements
Compiling of monthly management accounts
Assisting with various audits (external and internal)
Processing and reconciling monthly payroll, staff commissions, and statutory payments
Assisting with tender applications
Performing as a strong leader of a cohesive team with strict enforcement of statutory regulations, quality standards, governance processes and compliance requirements
SARS Compliance (in respect of all tax types and types of entities including individuals)
Liaising with other departments in respect of above
PA related duties directly to the CEO
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Pastel Partner, SAGE 300 People, CaseWare working papers, Easyfile employer and Efilling
