Our client in Silverton is seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor with solid shopfitting experience. This is a key requirement and non-negotiable. The ideal candidate will have hands-on exposure to retail/shopfitting projects and be confident with measurements, costing, and project coordination within this environment.

 Key Responsibilities

• Prepare BOQs, estimates, and cost plans specifically for shopfitting projects
• Conduct accurate site measurements and verify contractor quantities
• Assist with tender documentation, procurement, and pricing
• Track project costs, variations, and progress claims
• Liaise with shopfitting teams, contractors, suppliers, and project managers
• Maintain detailed project and financial documentation
• Support with compiling progress reports

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying
• Shopfitting experience is essential (not optional)
• 5 years QS experience (internships in shopfitting count)
• Strong Excel and measurement skills
• Ability to read technical and shopfitting drawings
• Excellent communication and attention to detail
