The Office Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales performance, growing policy numbers, and managing a team of field agents and office sales staff. The role focuses on meeting monthly sales targets, ensuring strong client service and improving persistency.
Sales Leadership

Recruit, lead and motivate the branch’s sales team (office & field agents).

Set daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets and monitor performance.

Conduct morning sales briefings and end-of-day performance reviews
Sales Growth & Targets
-
Achieve branch monthly sales targets for new business

Grow the branch footprint through activations, door-to-door campaigns, and marketing drives.

Identify new market opportunities
Staff Management
-
Recruit, onboard, and train new field agents.
-
Monitor productivity, attendance, and accountability.
-
Conduct weekly individual performance reviews and coaching sessions.
-
Ensure compliance with Covision sales processes, ethical guidelines, and FSCA expectations.
Client Service & Retention

Oversee walk-in client services
Branch Operations
-
Ensure the branch is fully staffed and presentable.

Assist with office reporting (daily sales reports, weekly summaries, monthly performance).
Required Skills
- Sales Manager: 2 to 3 years
- Branch Manager: 3 to 4 years
- Office Manager: 3 to 4 years
Candidate Requirements

Matric (Grade 12) – REQUIRED.

Minimum 3 years sales management experience (insurance or funeral industry preferred).

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Valid driver’s licence and own car (advantage, but not mandatory).

Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
-
Knowledge of funeral operations or insurance sales will be a strong advantage.

Excellent communication skills in English + local languages.

later changed to S.A. Funeral Home. We are the first and the only Funeral Home
this far to build an insurance book and late acquire licence from FSB to run an
insurance business trading under Covision Life. In 2011 Covision Group took a
business decision to sell Covision Life to Hollard Insurance.
What We Do
Our funeral product offering is tailor-made to meet the funeral needs of all
market segments. We have designed our distribution through Covision Funeral
Homes to be of easy access with flexible premium payment points e.g. our own
funeral Homes, some national store and Easy pay outlets pay points.
Face to face approach when dealing with insurance companies it’s still a huge challenge to most of the people who do not have access to technology. By utilizing local Covision Funeral Home as distribution point, for clients to enquire about the status of their policies and premium payment points it make life easy for our clients. The sign up process for our funeral insurance is quick and easy and you won’t need to undergo any medical examinations.
