Our client is seeking an experienced Chartered Accountant to join their team and take ownership of the full financial function.Key ResponsibilitiesFull financial management, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reportingPrepare financial statements in accordance with IFRSManage budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow planningOversee tax compliance (VAT, PAYE, Income Tax)Lead internal controls, risk management, and process improvementsOversee audits and liaise with external auditorsReview and approve reconciliations, journals, and financial entriesManage treasury functions and working capitalProvide management reports and strategic financial insightsSupport senior leadership with financial modelling and decision supportEnsure compliance with all statutory requirements and deadlinesMentor and guide junior finance staff

Minimum requirements:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA))
• Completed SAICA Articles
• 5+ years post-article experience
• Strong technical IFRS knowledge
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial ERP systems
• Solid understanding of tax legislation & compliance
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and integrity
