A dynamic industrial automation company is looking for an experienced VSD and PLC Sales Representative with strong technical knowledge, customer engagement skills, and a passion for growing market share within the drives and automation sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing new business, expanding existing accounts, and providing technical support to clients across the KZN region.

Responsibilities:

     • Conduct sales visits independently or alongside other representatives to achieve sales targets.
     • Develop and manage business opportunities for variable speed drives (VSDs) and PLCs
     • Follow up promptly on quotations and provide customer feedback to management as needed.
     • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline aligned with target requirements.
     • Adhere strictly to safety instructions and operational guidelines.
     • Work independently with strong attention to detail.
     • Travel locally to customer sites.
     • Submit monthly sales reports outlining progress and performance against targets.

Requirements:

     • Experience with variable speed drives, PLCs, and industrial automation (advantageous).
     • Knowledge of CRM systems and sales processes.
     • Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
     • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
     • Understanding of Modbus and relevant communication protocols.
     • Basic electrical knowledge related to VSDs.
     • Sales-related qualifications or training (advantageous).
