Step into a rewarding role as a Cost Accountant with a respected manufacturing team in the Western Cape!

In this position, you will manage product costing, inventory control, and financial reporting while designing and deploying BI dashboards and data models to support strategic decision-making. Your expertise in cost accounting and business intelligence will be essential in driving operational efficiency and delivering actionable insights across the business.

Candidate Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have a Bachelor’s degree in Cost and Management Accounting, Financial Management, Data Analytics, or a related field, with 3-5 years of cost accounting experience within a manufacturing or FMCG environment. You will also need a minimum of 2 years BI development experience, supported by strong analytical and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems (SYSPRO advantageous), and BI tools such as Qlik Sense or PowerBI is essential. A CIMA qualification (or working towards one) will be advantageous. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between sites is required.
