Our client, a leader in the citrus industry for over 100 years, has the abovementioned opportunity available for an experienced and detail-oriented Production Manager for their Process Plant, to join their team based in Citrusdal.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the juice production process. Duties will include (but not be limited to): *Ensuring that products are manufactured in a timely & cost-effective manner while maintaining high quality standards *Plan & coordinate production schedules to meet customer demand & achieve production targets *Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency & quality standards are met *Implement & oversee production policies & procedures to ensure compliance with company standards & regulations *Manage & motivate the team of production staff, providing training & support as needed *Work closely with other departments, such as procurement, quality control, & maintenance, to ensure seamless operations *Analyse production data & performance metrics to identify areas for improvement & implement solutions *Ensure a safe working environment for all production staff & adhere to health & safety regulations *All other tasks related to this position.

Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Manufacturing / Process Management;

• Minimum 4-5 years’ experience in process management;

• Experience with citrus processing principles will be advantageous;

• Knowledge of BRC certification;

• Knowledge of production processes and best practices;

• Proven track record of achieving production targets and quality standards;

• Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.
