Our client, a citrus farming business situated in Citrusdal, has an exciting opportunity for a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will excel in time management, demonstrate punctuality in meeting deadlines, and thrive in a collaborative environment.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Financial Manager and duties will include (but not be limited to): *Oversee an maintain accuracy of weekly wages *Management of creditors and monthly reconciliations *Capturing of bank transactions *EMP 501 and EMP201 submissions *Employment Equity Reporting *Post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments as required *All other tasks related to this role.

Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:

• A relevant tertiary qualification;

• Minimum 3 years’ practical experience in a similar position (farming knowledge will be advantageous);

• Knowledge of payroll administration on the Donkerhoek Data system will be advantageous;

• Advanced computer proficiency, specifically MS Excel - Experience with Xero / Pastel is a requirement;

• Valid driver’s license.
