CME Recruitment is seeking a Product Development Designer to join a leading online gifting and creative production company.

This role is perfect for someone who loves combining creativity and practicality — turning design ideas into beautiful, efficient, and commercially viable products. You’ll be part of a small but innovative team focused on developing, testing, and refining products that make customers smile.

What You’ll Do:

• Research, prototype, and test new product and packaging concepts
• Design and refine jigs, die-lines, and layouts to improve production efficiency
• Experiment with new materials, branding methods, and personalization techniques
• Collaborate with Production and Creative teams to ensure smooth rollouts
• Train and guide staff on templates, equipment, and production standards

What We’re Looking For:

• Industrial Design qualification (or related)
• Experience in product development, packaging, or production design
• Strong creative and problem-solving mindset
• Hands-on approach and passion for process improvement
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Location: Midrand (1 day per week work-from-home flexibility)
Type: Full-time, office-based
Salary: Negotiable based on experience
